WORKER 370 is a rotary welding positioner of a stand design for floor placement, with a 1010 mm working height and a maximum working load of 370 kg. This welding positioner is designed for demanding work in metal workshops and reliable welding in industrial applications across all sectors, even under high hourly workloads. The machine provides an ideal solution for medium-sized weldments where smooth and stable rotation is crucial.
A robust steel construction made of first-class materials and precise structural components carries the spindle, allowing comfortable mounting of the appropriate working plate or universal chuck. This rotary welding positioner is equipped with a quality stepper drive and digital control, ensuring perfectly smooth and constant rotational speed without deviation during welding, even with eccentric loading, to achieve a consistent weld around the entire circumference of the product.
Control system R3 is integrated into the machine chassis and protected by a steel cover with the polycarbonate glass cover against splashes of welded metal. The hollow spindle can also be used to equip the machine with an integrated system for supplying inert gas through the spindle.
Operation of the positioner can be made easier by using the foot controller for proportional speed regulation, which allows the spindle rotation speed to be adjusted during welding. A hand controller is another alternative for remote control of the positioner. In addition to controlling the rotation speed, both the foot controller and hand controller may include a selector for changing the rotation direction.
The spindle has a variable tilt range of 0 - 90°, ensuring the optimal welding position. The spindle tilt is driven by an asynchronous motor and conveniently controlled by buttons located at the front of the machine.
The positioner has integrated anchor points for the installation of a supporting column, which enables the positioner to be equipped with an advanced welding arm system. The welding arm has pneumatic control and three degrees of position adjustment.
At the end of the welding arm, there is a precise mechanical cross head for two-axis torch position adjustment in the range of +/- 15 mm. It features a backlash-free structure and allows the torch to be rotated by +/- 90° and tilted within a range of +/- 20°, with both movements featuring position locking in steps.
This rotary positioner is equipped with digital control system R3, specially designed by HST CREATIVE for circumferential welding and effective automation of this process. The positioner also has a controlled output for switching the welding source arc ON.
