RWP 1350 LIFT is a custom-built heavy-duty welding positioner designed for demanding industrial applications. Its robust construction, high-quality components and powerful drive ensure smooth and constant rotation even under eccentric loads.

The machine has a maximum load capacity of 2000 kg. Its low spindle-speed range provides high torque for positioning and welding heavy components.

The steel structure integrates the rotary unit, drive mechanism and large spindle. The spindle flange can be fitted with a standard 1350 mm grooved faceplate or a 315 mm universal chuck.

The spindle can be hydraulically lifted through a stroke of 630 mm. The electrically controlled lifting system can be operated by push buttons and allows the spindle height to be adjusted even when the workpiece is loaded.

The integrated R3 control system provides the basic functions required for automatic welding and includes a controlled output for switching the welding power source. It is protected inside the machine frame by a steel door with a polycarbonate viewing panel.

The machine can be operated remotely using either a proportional foot pedal or a hand controller. Both options allow spindle-speed adjustment and can include a selector for changing the direction of rotation.

An integrated forming-gas supply routed through the spindle is available as an option.

RWP 1350 LIFT is suitable for MIG/MAG, TIG, pulsed-arc and Plasma welding.

The machine is supplied only as a bespoke solution. Its final technical configuration and feasibility are determined according to the product parameters, specific application and customer production program.

The application required controlled rotation and adjustable working height for heavy, potentially eccentric workpieces while keeping machine operation accessible to the operator.

A fixed-height workshop positioner would not provide the described lifting stroke, load capacity and protected integrated control required for this application.

HST combined a robust rotary unit with an electrically controlled hydraulic lift and the R3 control system for manual or automated welding workflows.

The spindle, drive and optional forming-gas route are integrated into one protected machine structure.

  • Digital stepper motor control provides stable rotational speed also with eccentric loading.
  • The control system supports welding automation. Setting the rotation angle and the welding source switch OFF angle.
  • Welding in manual mode with rotation speed control by proportional foot controller.
  • The machine can be connected into automated production system with welding source.
  • Durable design with protection of sensitive parts, transmission of welding current by a professional milled CuCrZr wiper.

Technical values are listed for the presented configuration. Final parameters may depend on the customer's product, application and project scope.

Manual circumferential welding, remote control of the rotation speed, the possibility of switching the direction of rotation with an ergonomically integrated selector.

Connection of the welding source with communication cable directly to the positioner.

Lift of spindle continuously by hydraulic unit and electric motor by means of buttons.

The spindle has a through hole for supplying the forming gas under the weld.

The spindle has a through hole for welding of pipes.

Linear and radial oscilation.

Remote hand or proportional foot control allows the operator to manage rotation from a suitable working position, while sensitive control components are protected inside the frame.

Height adjustment and controlled low-speed rotation allow the workpiece to be positioned for welding without separating lifting and rotation into unrelated process steps.
