BWA 2000 is a custom-built precision rotary welding machine designed for light components and rod materials of various types and lengths. Its accurately manufactured structure and factory-set parallelism of less than 0.2 mm enable reliable welding of small and precise parts.

The high-quality drive provides smooth movement and constant rotational speed. The RCS06 control system supports full automation of the rotary welding process and includes a controlled output for switching the welding arc.

Due to the complexity of the machine, it is supplied only as a bespoke solution. The final technical configuration and feasibility are determined after a detailed consultation based on the product parameters, specific application and customer production program.

The machine has a maximum turning diameter of 250 mm and a static load capacity of up to 50 kg. The distance between the spindle flanges, and therefore the maximum product length, can be customized from 500 to 7000 mm. The rotational speed range is optimized for lighter products with smaller diameters.

The free-standing steel structure is designed for the expected industrial load and should be anchored to the floor. It is positioned at an ergonomic working height and carries the main spindle with an integrated drive.

The tailstock and product support move along precision linear ball guides. The support stabilizes long rod materials during welding. The machine base also carries the torch-arm support block, which can be either fixed or movable along the same linear guides.

The tailstock can be equipped with an independent synchronized drive. In this configuration, both spindle drives operate without backlash and consist of stepper motors, precision planetary gearboxes and toothed-belt transmissions.

The main spindle and tailstock spindle use standardized flanges with a 28 mm through-hole and can be fitted with 125 mm universal chucks. As an alternative, the machine can be equipped with a fully automatic pneumatic clamping system.

Special pneumatic chucks with custom-designed jaws can be supplied for both spindles according to the requirements of the specific welding application.

Tailstock pressure can be adjusted mechanically using a drawbar, nut and control lever. An automatic pneumatic pressure system operated by a push-button switch is also available.

The machine includes a protective cover with a welding-glass window for safe process monitoring. The cover moves pneumatically into the welding position automatically after the working cycle starts, protecting the operator from the welding arc.

A two-hand control unit with an integrated emergency-stop button is supplied for starting the working cycle.

The welding arm is pneumatically operated. Its torch holder provides backlash-free vertical adjustment within ±15 mm, torch inclination and 90° rotation.

The machine is suitable for MIG/MAG, TIG, pulsed-arc and Plasma welding.

  • Backlash-free drives with concept in the composition of Stepper motor > Planetary gearbox > Toothed belt transmission > Spindle.
  • Machine can be connected as fully automated production system with a pneumatic clamping system and welding machine control.
  • Through-hole spindles with standardized flanges for connecting a standard universal chucks.
  • Sophisticated torch arm with many degrees of releasing achieving high variability for internal and external welding.
  • Tailstock pressure in the longitudinal axis by pneumatic cylinder, movement along the precise linear guides.
  • Durable design with protection of sensitive parts, transmission of welding current by a professional milled CuCrZr wiper.

Technical values are listed for the presented configuration. Final parameters may depend on the customer's product, application and project scope.
